China’s course on the stable development of alternative energy is an example for many European countries. While other states still can not say goodbye to their total dependence on fossil fuels, the Chinese are actively innovating and are getting excellent results. According to experts in the field of renewable energy, China has the highest potential in the field of developing alternative energy sources.

Among the latest experimental projects of Chinese developers is a car track, the coating of which is made of solar panels. It should be noted that this road is capable of sustaining the rather impressive weight of vehicles without damage.

Photoelectric coating of the highway was introduced within the city of Jinan. The total length of the route is more than a kilometer. Solar panels do not cover the entire surface of the road, but only one of the strips. The area of ​​the roadway on which photocells are laid is almost 6,000 square meters, and its power is 817 kilowatts.

At this stage, the route does not bring tangible economic benefits. Experts say that it can be obtained on the condition of attracting a third person, that is, a consumer. As the services provided, the project organizers intend to offer wireless charging of electric cars or navigation for unmanned vehicles.

Another unquestionable know-how in the field of alternative energy was the receipt of electricity from the flow of human blood. This controversial discovery belongs to a group of scientists from the University of Fudan. The basis for the development was a special carbon fiber. Its thickness is less than 0.5 mm. If you connect the nanofibre with the electrodes and place them under the conditions of the flowing fluid (the main condition is that the liquid should contain a salt compound, like blood), then this will be enough to generate an electric current.

This technology can be used for the purpose of recharging the electronics worn on the human body or for medical sensors. The fiber is perfectly bent and has an elastic structure, so its placement in the human body is not problematic.

In addition, the production of biofuel is growing rapidly in China. In early 2015, the country was considered a newcomer in this area of ​​alternative energy. The government approved the state plan for 2016-2020, which provides for an increase in the use of biological mass to generate electricity to 58 million tons per year. For comparison: in 2015, these figures were slightly more than 35 million tons.

According to the plan, the amount of electricity generated from biomass by 2020 should be no less than 15 gigawatts.

The Chinese government is committed to the active implementation of renewable energy technologies and their productive use. This approach, of course, has a number of advantages, both for the country’s economy and for the environment. The only disadvantage of such growth rates of alternative energy is a sharp reduction in the cost of electricity.
